Ron
Callari, Founder, President & CEO
Ron Callari heads up iOptimize Marketing's travel vertical markets and brings 25 years of experience to this space. He knows it intimately having been on both the supplier and buyer side of the industry and having held key marketing positions with Marriott International domestically and internationally. Since his early days as Director of Advertising & Public Relations for Marriott's Caribbean division, Ron has witnessed the evolution of marketing from offline to online, and knows the effectiveness of internet marketing as it pertains to SEO, SEM and Social Networking. Ron worked with Jeff during their tenure with Greenlight Search, out of the UK.
His contact base on the management and executive levels is extensive, and he is member of the Cornell Society of Hotelmen, with a Masters Degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
Ron’s advertising and public relations experience earned him an Adrian Award from HSMAI (Hotel Sales & Marketing Association International) which recognizes innovation and forward-thinking sales and marketing campaigns in the travel industry.
Today, Ron heads up two online social networks in the travel industry, the
Hotel SEO Executives and the
Airline SEO
Executives. He encourages industry professionals to contact him regarding memberships, as both groups are by invitation only.
Ron is also an accomplished and published travel writer and editorial
cartoonist, and has written White Papers and travel articles over the course of the last ten years. His book, Uncle Dubya's Jihad Jamboree was published in 2005.
